78% of Canadians think faces should be uncovered during citizenship ceremony
A survey of 1,505 Canadians for The Rebel has found that 78% of Canadians believe you should have to remove any face-covering including a Muslim 'niqab' or 'burka' when you are being sworn in as a Canadian citizen.
61% of respondents strongly agree and 16% moderately agree with the statement. Those most likely to agree are men (80%), French-speakers (94%) and people over 55 (88%).
